Benin Republic coach Gernot Rohr has stressed that FIFA’s ruling on South Africa midfielder Teboho Mokoena’s eligibility could reshape Group C of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Mokoena featured in Bafana Bafana’s win over Lesotho despite suspension, and Rohr believes South Africa should lose three points if FIFA enforces its rules. That would leave Benin level on points with the group leaders.
