Hilda Baci Receives Second Guinness World Record Plaque

Celebrity chef Hilda Baci has received her second Guinness World Record plaque, recognizing her for cooking the world’s largest pot of jollof rice.

The record was confirmed by Guinness World Records after she prepared 8,780 kilograms (19,356 pounds) of jollof rice during a Lagos cookout in September.

This new milestone comes more than a year after her first record for completing a 93-hour, 11-minute cooking marathon in May 2023.

With the two titles, Hilda becomes Nigeria’s first and most decorated chef to hold multiple Guinness World Records. All portions of the jollof rice were shared with guests and charitable organizations in line with verification standards.
