Spain international Marco Asensio is set to join manager José Mourinho at Fenerbahçe, making the move from Paris Saint Germain.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Fenerbahçe is closing in on a deal with Paris Saint-Germain for Marco Asensio after reaching an agreement with the player.
Asensio has been invited to Istanbul for a medical and to complete his official signing with José Mourinho’s side.
Meanwhile, in a separate development, Sweden international Viktor Gyökeres has decided to join Arsenal during the summer transfer window.
As a result, he will not report for training at Sporting Lisbon today, tomorrow, or for the rest of the summer.
Gyökeres has already communicated his decision to the club president in recent days.
The striker is keen on a move to Premier League side Arsenal this summer, following his impressive campaign in which he helped Sporting Lisbon win the domestic league title last season.
