The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), at its 2025 National Convention in Ibadan, has expelled prominent members including Nyesom Wike, Senator Samuel Anyanwu, Kamaldeen Ajibade (SAN), former Governor Ayo Fayose, and Hon. Austin Nwachukwu.
The overwhelming approval by delegates signals the party’s firm resolve to address internal conflicts and enforce discipline ahead of the 2027 elections.
According to party leaders, the decision aims to restore unity, strengthen cohesion and eliminate anti-party activities that have undermined the PDP’s growth.
