Madueke Injured, Set for Two-Month Absence
By Afolabi Nelson
Arsenal winger Noni Madueke is expected to be out for around two months after suffering a knee injury during Sunday’s Premier League clash against Manchester City, which ended 1-1.
The 23-year-old began the match but was withdrawn at halftime, with Bukayo Saka making his return to action as his replacement.
Speaking after the game, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta explained that Madueke had been struggling from the early stages and was unable to carry on.
The injury comes as a setback for Arsenal, who are already managing fitness concerns among key players as they push to stay competitive in both the league and European competitions.
