NPFL: Kano Pillars receive Ahmed Musa boost ahead Rangers clash

By Hellen Ayodeji

Kano Pillars have been handed a major boost with the return of captain Ahmed Musa to training after recovering from a minor injury.

Musa picked up the knock during the Sai Masu Gida’s Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) matchday two fixture against Wikki Tourists, which ruled him out of the 1-0 North West derby defeat to Katsina United last weekend.

The former Super Eagles skipper is now in contention to feature in Evans Ogenyi’s squad for their crucial matchday four clash against Rangers International at the Sani Abacha Stadium this weekend.

Kano Pillars are still searching for their first win of the campaign, having managed just one point from three games so far.
