Senator Ned Nwoko Defends Polygamy, Says It Brings Balance to a Man’s Life

By Afolabi Nelson

Senator Ned Nwoko has defended polygamy, saying that having more than one wife gives men balance and stability.

Speaking on Politics Today on Channels TV, the Delta North senator, who has four wives, said he feels sorry for men who have only one wife. He compared it to “standing on one leg,” saying that having two, three, or four wives is like standing on several legs more stable.

His remarks come after reports of tension in his home following the unveiling of a new mansion by his youngest wife, Regina Daniels. Nwoko denied rumours of domestic violence, calling them false.

He said he is not a violent person and has great love and respect for his wives and children, adding that he has no regrets about his marital choices.
