Tinubu Congratulates Nigerian-born Seahawks Stars on Super Bowl 60 Win

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Nigerian-descended players who helped the Seattle Seahawks beat the New England Patriots 29–13 to claim Super Bowl 60 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
The victory secured the franchise’s second Lombardi Trophy.
In a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu praised the athletes for showcasing Nigerian talent globally and bringing pride to the nation.
He highlighted Jalen Oluwaseun Milroe, Nick Emmanwori, Uchenna Nwosu, Boye Maye, and Olu Oluwatimi for their key contributions to the team’s success.
The President also acknowledged Michael Onwenu of the Patriots for his performance but singled out Emmanwori, Nwosu, and Maye for raising Nigeria’s flag in a symbolic display of patriotism after the win.
Tinubu noted that the players’ achievements reaffirm Nigerians’ global reputation for excellence, resilience, and talent, wishing them continued success and more victories in their sporting careers.
