By Afolabi Nelson
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday met with the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, at the State House in Abuja to discuss ways to promote peace, unity, and interfaith harmony in Nigeria.
The closed-door meeting was part of the Federal Government’s efforts to work closely with religious and traditional leaders to build trust and foster dialogue across the country.
Presidency sources said the discussion focused on strengthening national integration and addressing emerging social issues.
The engagement also reflects Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which prioritizes inclusiveness and interfaith cooperation as key to national stability.
