Uba Sani Vows No Child Will Be Left Behind in Digital Education

By Afolabi Nelson

Governor Uba Sani has reaffirmed his commitment to expanding digital literacy and ensuring equal learning opportunities for every child in Kaduna State.

Speaking at the “Class Is Open Everywhere” DigiTruck Digital Skills Training Programme on Tuesday, he emphasized that no student, whether in urban or rural areas, will be left behind.

Represented by the Commissioner of Youth Development, Gloria Ibrahim, the governor noted that access to technology and essential skills is now a necessity, not a luxury. “Students must not only be educated, they must be equipped,” he said.

The mobile digital classroom will visit secondary schools across the state, teaching basic computing, AI fundamentals, digital creativity, and other 21st-century skills. The programme is expected to reach 20–30 schools and impact over 1,000 students, giving many their first hands-on experience with practical technology.

Governor Sani highlighted that this exposure will spark curiosity, build confidence, and inspire students to become not just users of technology, but creators and problem-solvers.

He encouraged students to actively participate, explore, and ask questions, saying, “The future you are preparing for is already here, and this programme is opening the door for you to step into it.”
